Do not punish me when I accidentely something gnaw what is not ment for my teeth. I do not always understand what is good and bath gnawmaterial. Especially when I am small. Then I need to learn anything.

Give me food and gnawmaterial that is hard enough, where I can wear out my teeth. Be carefull if I do not eat, please check out my mouth. I could be possible that I have a wound in my mouth or that I have to long teeth.

I can not miss fruit and vegetables for my health. Please give me every day my necessary vitamins, then I will stay healthy.

Do not place me in the draft, otherwise I will get a cold.

Please take care for me when I am sick or when I am old. For my medical care I need you ! So please do not wait to long with visiting a veterinary surgeon, if I need it.

Respect me as rat, with everything I do and am. Do I cause problems, try to solve them instead of being angry with me. You are not perfect either ?

When you have me as pet, please take care for me and do not forget me ? I am clever and affectionate and I will give you back all the love you give to me. So please will you take care for me as long as I live ? I will reward you for all your attention, love and care .....
